about theKantian

“Two things fill the mind with ever-increasing wonder and awe, the more often and the more intensely the mind of thought is drawn to them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me“

Immanuel Kant, The Critique of Practical Reason (1788)

All the way back to the Greek philosophers and even the shamans and seers before them, people have realized humans are unique. Whether from divine inspiration, tampering, or maybe just sheer luck; we are capable of morality.

Kant suggests that we should believe in the infinite possibilities ahead of us even as we can never know the true depth of our own reality. So we honor him by taking stabs at things worth talking about. Writing about big questions, and thinking about simple things. theKantian is about anything, really. Like anything else, this is just an experiment.
